Welcome to Candyland

My poster, titled “Welcome to Candyland”, displays several parametric 3D plots of different types of candies and their corresponding Mathematica commands. The Frooties display cylindrical and disk inputs, the Whopper employs spherical, and the Dots utilize conical and disk commands. Additionally, I wanted to make a candy necklace, so I used a torus shape.

For the generated Frooties graph, I was able to figure out how to incorporate the end disks with the cylindrical body in one command by using the Show feature. In order to ensure the end disks lined up with the edge of the cylindrical body of the image, I offset their z-position in the graph. This project expressed that what the general public may view as simple shapes, like a sphere or a donut, have complex mathematical equations and constructs.
