The World’s Largest Sierpinski Triangle out of K’NEX
Math majors in Professor Donnay’s Senior Conference class partnered with students from Overbrook High and Elementary School, the Science Leadership Academy @ Beeber, the ADELANTE program at the ACLAMO Family Center, and other community members to create the Largest Sierpinski Triangle. As a faculty member at Bryn Mawr, I enoying work in a variety of areas including:
- doing research on chaotic dynamical systems as well as on how to build multi-institutional partnerships that can better support STEM teachers and prespective STEM teachers.
- connecting math and science education with sustainability
- sharing the beauty and excitment of mathematics with general audiences
- teaching a variey of courses and supervising student research.
